| The Goodman Warranty / GoodCare™ Extended Warranty Plan
Every part in every unit Goodman makes is guaranteed for at least five (5) years, subject to the conditions described in the product warranty. Heat exchangers are warranted for twenty (20) years and some have a limited lifetime warranty. This is the strongest warranty in the industry and shows Goodman's commitment to deliver you the highest possible quality. GoodCare™: Protect Your Investment for Years to Come Guard Against Unplanned Repair Expenses. GoodCare™ is an extended service plan backed by the financial strength of Goodman Manufacturing Company. GoodCare™ adds additional labor and parts coverage to the existing factory warranty coverage of Goodman produced air conditioning and heating systems. GoodCare™ protects you against any unexpected repair or part replacement costs for up to 10 years from the date of your installation. Available in three (3) options, GoodCare™ provides you with the peace of mind of knowing that your repair costs can be eliminated, depending on the plan you choose.
Plan 1: Warranty labor will be provided at no cost to product owner beginning on the 31st day after product installation through the fifth year of product service life. Plan 2: Warranty labor will be provided at no cost to product owner beginning on the 31st day after product installation through the tenth year of product service life. Plan 3: Available for Goodman products with five (5) year all parts standard warranty protection where ten (10) year warranty labor coverage is purchased. Warranty labor will be provided at no cost to product owner beginning on the 31st day after product installation through the tenth year of product service life. GoodCare™ coverage will be sold by authorized GoodCare™ dealers directly to homeowners purchasing eligible Goodman products. Goodman will administer all contracts and claims with the product owner and authorized GoodCare™ dealers. What is Covered by GoodCare™? The GoodCare™ Plan provides you with extended coverage for your newly installed Goodman-produced air conditioning and heating equipment. GoodCare™ insures that if a repair is needed, an authorized service technician will respond promptly and make any necessary repairs with quality Goodman PDQ Parts. What is Not Covered by GoodCare™? The GoodCare™ Plan does not provide for routine maintenance, failure due to neglect, non-operating components, improper use of air filters, acts of God or other natural disasters, theft or abuse. Coverage excludes repairs not performed by Goodman authorized dealers. Can I Afford GoodCare™? GoodCare™ coverage certainly is affordable comfort that averages only pennies a day. You pay when you sign up. It’s perfect for those who do not want the financial responsibility for unbudgeted system repairs. It provides coverage beyond the product warranty and the coverage costs a very low price. What Happens If I Sell My Home? Your GoodCare™ Plan is fully transferable to a new homeowner if your home is sold, thus adding resale value to your home. This can be done at no cost. How Do I Do It? It’s easy. In addition to installing your new Goodman-produced air conditioning and/or heating system, the paperwork for the GoodCare™ Plan is simple. Our authorized Goodman sub-contractor will talk to you about the plans and the details of the program. He will even help you complete the paperwork and register your GoodCare™ Extended Warranty with Goodman for you. It’s as simple as that!
